Matt Van Dam
shot a medalist performance 39 for Cowan Monday evening but it was not enough
to overcome a solid team performance from Muncie Burris. The Owls won the dual
match 172-180.
Once again,
it was depth and balance that led Burris to the win. Brock Bell and Dave Morgan
both shot 41 while the Phipps boys added a 43 and a 47. Van Dam’s supporting
cast could not muster anything near those performances.
